In my last semester at college, I’m finally making good on my childhood dream: teaching elementary school.
Apparently, the old adage even applies to mildewy buses, turf burns and naps on gym floors. Yes, absence is making my heart grow fonder of even the rough edges of the lacrosse season.
I may not quite make the cutoff to be considered a digital native, but I do think I’m at least a digital dual-citizen. But one thing’s for sure: I’ve definitely matured alongside social media.
Horrible. Awful. Failure. As I stepped out of a recent job interview, my thoughts were a thesaurus of negativity. Before the door even closed behind me, I had already written off the possibility of a callback.
